SCHOTT Solar, Inc. today announced the appointment of Tom Hecht as the company’s new Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his new role Mr. Hecht is responsible for developing the company’s photovoltaic (PV) and Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) business in the region.

Hecht joins SCHOTT Solar after working as Director of Business Development and Marketing at Miasole, a CIGS thin-film PV module manufacturer.  Prior to that, Hecht held management positions in Corporate Development and Marketing in the telecommunications industry. Hecht was also a founding member of SolarTech, a Silicon Valley-based PV organization.
